I am not very good at art, can I still come to the classes?
Yes, of course! These art classes are aimed at all abilities and skill levels. Naomi will guide your through your piece and help you at what ever level you are. Art is for everyone, and anyone can be creative if they are given the opportunity to try. The goal is to have fun and open up the imagination.
Can I book you to do a group class for me and my friends?
Yes! Naomi would love nothing more than putting a class together for you and your friends. If you want to bring some drink and food, that is fine too. Just contact Naomi via her contact page to discuss your wishes.
What do I need to bring to the class?
All equipment is provided, so just bring yourself! It is best to bring your own bottle of water with a secure lid, so nothing is knocked over and spilt when in the class. Also wearing older and not so valuable clothes is best, just in case the class gets messy.
Do you have parking at the studio?
Yes. The studio is situated on a small lane, where there are a few parking spaces opposite, or you can park on Red Lion Road. There are no parking restrictions, however we ask you to be considerate to our neighbours and not block driveways at drop off/ pick ups.
What is your address?
The art studio is based in Naomi’s garden on 39 Brimshot Lane, Chobham, GU24 8rn. As you enter the gate you will see the studio up the path to the right. Toilets are available in her home if needed.
Do you have a DBS?
Yes Naomi is DBS checked. She has an individual DBS for the studio, and is also regularly checked via her local primary school as she often volunteers for them and goes in to teach art classes.

By booking with us you are hereby confirming you have read and accept our terms and conditions stated below.
Terms & Conditions - ART CLASSES
Booking a class
All classes must be fully paid for in advance to Serene Studio. If classes have not been paid in advance, we cannot hold your space and it will be open to others. Bookings for the class ideally need to close 48hrs before the class date. This is due to prepping and buying equipment for the class. However, exceptions may be made last minute if the class is not full and you contact Naomi to discuss in person.
Please note, there is a minimum attendance requirement of 2 students for any group class, and classes will not run if this is not met. A full refund or option of another class date will be offered.
Our classes are booked on a first come, first served basis. However, advanced notice is given to those on the mailing list. You may opt in and out of the mailing list at any point. Please contact hello@serenestudio.art or view our privacy policy for how we store and use your data.
As soon as the class becomes full, new enquiries will be placed on a waiting list. As such, please note that you cannot share or sell on your place to another child/adult without alerting us. If you wish to swap your place with someone please contact Naomi.
All children under the age of 16 booked in for a class will need to provide emergency contact numbers and information of names / relationship to the child of who will be collecting them from the class.
If you purchase a Multi-buy pack of classes, the passes are assigned to one person only (they can not be shared between different people). Please confirm your dates of the classes you wish to attend as soon as possible, by emailing Naomi at hello@serenestudio.art or via the contact page. You will not be able to attend the class without booking the dates in previously with Naomi, as spaces may have filled up. Confirmation booking for a class is required at least 48 hrs prior to the class start date. Again, it is advisable to pre-book your dates ASAP, as Naomi cannot guarantee the class will have availability by the class date deadline.
Attending a class
Children and adults should wear appropriate clothing to their session, art can get messy so it is advisable to wear older, less valuable clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty.
If you or your child has additional needs and would like to join a class / workshop, we will do everything possible to accommodate. However, if we feel we cannot safely include someone in the class, we may suggest additional resources are supplied, or a support carer / guardian attend with them. It is best to contact Naomi in advance of booking to ensure we can take appropriate measures to allow inclusion. If you have booked and no prior notice of the need for additional support was given, then a full refund will be issued if Naomi feels she cannot safely accommodate.
Please alert Naomi to any allergies prior to attending the class. Sometimes students bring their own snacks, and as we advocate for a nut free environment, it is best to warn Naomi in advance so she can warn other attendees to not bring any foods that might put someone at risk. Naomi is not liable for any illness / reaction to food provided from the students home.
Naomi is unable to administer any medication to attendees. If you wish to discuss any medical situations with Naomi please contact her prior to class. Please ensure all contact / emergency numbers are up to date so Naomi can contact you if needed.
Adults and children should behave respectfully and kindly to one another. We will not tolerate rude behaviour or physical abuse to other students or staff. If this becomes the the case, the student will be asked to leave the class, and with younger students, then their parent/guardian will be called to come and collect them.
Children under 16 must be collected by an Parent / Approved Guardian* at the end of the class. Please check the times and be on time. (*Approved Guardian is someone given authority by the parent to collect their child, or is their official Guardian).
Naomi will take photos and videos throughout the class for promotional / marketing purposes of Serene Studio only. If you wish to be excluded from these photos or videos please tell Naomi prior to the start of the class. Children will automatically have faces hidden or blocked out, unless consent is given by the parent/guardian.
All work created must be taken home, as we have very little storage space.
Refunds + Cancellation Policy
When booking any class on our website please read our T+Cs carefully before committing to a booking. Please note as soon as a booking and payment has been made our terms and conditions automatically applies.
We unfortunately do not offer refunds for booked classes, due to equipment purchased, prep for each class and payment processing costs. We are however able to offer you the option of attending a different class at a later date (within 6 months). This option is only valid if the notice is given more than 48hrs before the original booked class date. Please contact the studio (hello@serenestudio.art) straight away if you are needing to reschedule your class.
If Serene Studio needs to refund you due to the minimum attendance clause of 2 people not being met, then no admin charge will be applied, and a full refund will be given or a credit note for another class. Naomi will do her best to process refunds as quickly as possible, but as she is using a 3rd party card provider, she cannot guarantee on the banks processing times.
We clearly state which age is suitable for which classes. We carefully prepare our classes for specific age groups and some classes have minimum/maximum age range. Please do not book a class for which the student attending the class are not in the correct age range. We will be unable to refund a class if the person is not at the suitable age advertised. If your child is in an in-between stage, please contact Naomi before booking to discuss.
If you do book a class, which is unsuitable for your child's age - we can either arrange switching to a more appropriate class or hold your booking, until your child is mature enough to attend the class. We cannot issue a refund if you have booked a class that is not the suitable age range for your child.
If you or your child are unable to attend due to illness, please contact us as soon as possible via email or phone. Credit can be arranged for a future date, to join us at the studio. We do not offer credit if we are not informed prior to class. We do not offer refunds due to illness.
There will be no refunds or credit notes issued for non-attendance without prior warning.
Any changes you wish to make to your booking like changing the day, can only be made with 72hours notice of the booked class.
If you or a child attending cannot/will not stay this is not our responsibility. No refund will be issued due to leaving the class at any point. In extenuating circumstances Naomi will decide on a case by case basis if a credit note will be issued for another class.
In the unlikely event that the Serene Studio needs to cancel a class due to illness/ other extenuanating circumstances, Naomi will attempt to notify all attendees as quickly as possible. All attendees booked onto the class will be given the option of a full refund or credit note. No other compensation shall be payable.
Should Serene Studio for reasons beyond their control (including high winds, lightning storms and icy conditions), feel it is necessary to close the activity once your class / party have already commenced participation, you will be offered alternative times or dates to return within one year and permitted to reschedule free of charge. In such circumstances, you will not be entitled to a refund, in part or whole.
Payments made by debit or credit card will be refunded to the same card or, if the card has subsequently expired, other payment details will be required. Payments made by gift voucher will be refunded by issuing of a replacement gift voucher to the same value.
Illness + Sickness
If you or your child is feeling unwell with a high temperature or vomiting / stomach bug etc, it is advised to stay home. Please contact Naomi as soon as possible to let her know if you cannot attend due to illness and she will do her best to reschedule your class. Please do not attend a class if you are very unwell, it will only put others at risk.

Terms & Conditions - PARTIES AND EVENTS
If you are booking a party/event in with Naomi you will be required to complete a booking form, sent by email. Naomi will provide a quote based on the details in the form, e.g event location, party size, theme. If agreed / approved / acccepted, an invoice will be sent to secure the booking.
All parties must be paid for in advance to Serene Studio. We require full payment up front, this secures your chosen date a time - If you have not made payment within 14 days of the issued invoice, your party booking will not be secure and may be given to someone else.
Who ever books the party / event are required give us a list of guest names, before the event. This can be emailed to us or given to your party host on arrival.
We can accommodate a maximum of 10 participating adults / children at the studio. If we are coming to your location this can be more, and will be discussed in the booking process.
If the party age of the children are under 16 then a parent or guardian is required to attend.
Please let us know the final guest number by 7 days prior to your Party date. Please note after this day and time, guests cannot be added - (due to needing appropriate time to arrange for extra assistants and activity preparation.)
We require a finalised Party theme/ activity by 7 days prior to your Party date. Activity cannot be changed after this day and time. If you have not let us know which activity you would like, Naomi will set an activity for your party.
We have a limited refuse collection at Serene Studio, please take home any additional rubbish/ wrapping/ food and drink waste . Naomi can only accodomate waste from her art class. If Naomi is at your location for a party/event she will take home with her any art related waste if there is no space to dispose of at the venue.
Children should wear appropriate clothing; we can get messy so old clothes should be worn. We provide aprons but paint does tend to get everywhere!
Serene Studio / Naomi is not responsible for any damage/paint /injury caused to clothing / hair / body. If the event is at your chosen location Naomi will take her best steps to ensure tables where the arts/crafts are being done, are protected with covers. However she is not responsible for the actions of adults / children participating in the class, and any damage done to the property / venue, and Naomi / Serene Studio is not liable. The client on the booking form for the class/party/event is responsible for any damage that may incur.
Adults and children should behave kindly to one another and avoid boisterous behaviour. Respect to, and by everyone, is expected within Serene Studio, or at venues when attending a Serene Studio event / class / party.
You will have 30 minutes prior to your party to hang any decorations / set up your party and a further 30 minutes after the end time of your party to gather your items and ask your guests to leave. Often, we have parties back-to-back and need time to prepare for the next one. Please note: Parties are stipulated times and need to be adhered to. Any Parties that run over the set allocated time, will be charged an extra fee of £50.00.
Serene Studio reserves the right to cancel a booking at any time.
You can cancel your party up to 30 days prior to your booked date, this will incur a £100 cancellation fee. If your party is sooner than 30 days, payments are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend your party, please email us as soon as possible to postpone/ reschedule.
We do not allow helium canisters at the studio. If you do bring a canister, you must take home and dispose yourself.
Parking is limited outside Serene Studio. There are no restrictions on the roads near by but please remain respectful of our neighbours and not to block drive ways. When parking please allow enough space so other vehicles may pass on the lane. We highly recommend car pooling if possible as this is not only environmentally better but more effective when it comes to space. Thank you.
By making a payment for your booking, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions.
Terms & Conditions - PHYSICAL PRODUCTS
Any items/ designs by Naomi / Serene Studio of artwork are copyrighted and are not allowed to be reproduced or copied in any format on any medium. If you wish to licence a certain design / print then please contact Naomi at hello@serenestudio.art.
Postage and shipping will be charged at checkout.
Currently we only provide UK shiping. However, if you are outside of the UK and wish to purchase please get in touch.
Refunds
If you are unhappy with your item you are entitled to a refund within 14 days of purchase, as long as the item is unused and returned in the original condition it was bought.
Earrings are not refundable due to hygiene purposes.
Terms
The item must be in the same condition it was purchased in.
A receipt of purchase is needed.
Refunds will be made to the original payment method.
If an item is personalised or commissioned as a piece of artwork, you can not return the item for a refund.
If you need to ship the item back to the studio, shipping costs will be at the expense of the sender. The item must be packed in the same / equivalent packaging it arrived in. It is advised that the item is tracked to ensure delivery. Refunds will only be processed once the item has been received by the studio.
Terms & Conditions - COMMISSIONED ARTWORK
Please contact Naomi via hello@serenestudio.art if you wish to commission a piece.
If you are looking to commission Naomi for your piece, you will be required to complete a booking form, sent by email. Naomi will provide a quote based on the details in the form, e.g size, medium, dates, theme etc. If agreed / approved / accepted, an invoice with booking information will be sent to secure the booking.
Creating the artwork
Naomi will discuss with you what sort of piece you are looking for and in turn work on designing piece for you. She is happy to receive references in regards to style and composition and will discuss in detail before the commission starts as to how the piece will aim to look. She will aim to provide an initial sketch / composition preview for your approval. However, once a piece has started she is unable to take artistic direction from the client. Naomi needs to have creative control as to the style of piece, and will do her best to meet the wishes of the client.
Payment
The commission requires a 50% deposit upfront to start the painting. Only when the first 50% is paid will the commission start. Payment must be paid within 7 days of invoice, and is non refundable. When the commission is complete, a photograph of the piece will be sent to you with the final 50% invoice. At this stage only small /minor admendmants may be done to the piece (these amends will be at the discretion of Naomi). The final 50% of payment is due on collection / shipment of the painting. Commissions will not be shipped or handed over until the final payment is paid. If shipping is required, postage will be added to the invoice. Currently Naomi only ships to the UK but if you wish to order a piece from outside the UK please contact Naomi to discuss.
Marketing / promotion
Naomi would like to use the piece she creates for you as part of her marketing and promotional work she posts online and off, so future clients can see the style and process of her work. In the situation where the commission is a personal portrait with recognisable faces and you wish for Naomi to not include your piece, please contact her at hello@serenestudio.art stating you do not wish to have your piece included in promotional / marketing. Copyright of the commissioned piece remains with Naomi Serene, and any prints or images made for reproduction/ sale should be discussed with Naomi before. Naomi has the right to reproduce prints from the commission piece if there are no recognisable faces included.
