Meet Naomi…
Hello!
Welcome and thank you for stopping by! I started Serene Art Studio when a friend mentioned she wanted to have a birthday art class where she and her friends could relax, catch up and of course paint! I immediately said “why don’t we do it in my studio? I could run the class for you”. And so began Serene Art Studio.
Since then, I have been holding art / craft classes, teaching art history, private group parties, portfolio sessions, as well as guest speaking and doing workshop classes at primary and high schools.
My hope is to encourage people of all ages to try and experience art in some form. To create a safe space where people can gather to create, not be judged, make new friendships and thrive through the magical experience of art.
For those questioning whether art is for them, I simply answer that one is never “bad at art”. Art is merely freedom of expression and no one should judge that. If your art makes you happy, that is all that matters.

Background: Naomi has worked in the creative industries for over 20 years. Having graduated from Central St.Martins (University of the Arts London) with a 2:1 BA honours degree, she then went on to work as a fashion stylist, fashion journalist. After this she went to work for major record label EMI Records, as an Art and Photographic Commissioner / Producer / Director. After four years in the music industry she retrained as a professional Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist and for 10 years has worked in t.v, film, west end theatre, advertising and fashion editorial. www.naomiserene.com
